To close the grill on the Cannon 151 eye level grill you need to look at the top right corner of the cooker above grill. You'll see a metal lever with a black end. Push the lever into the adjacent cut out in the cooker casing and then that allows you to push up the grill to store away.

i have a vey old tricity contesssa cooker(which i love!)
The rings are heating but the oven and grill have stopped working,any suggestions on how to fix please??

THE GRILL SWITCH NEEDS TO BE REPLACED

If the elements 'look' okay, they probably are. The 'infinite control switch' is probably the problem. With out the use of a meter, it's guess work. Unless you can see a connection problem.

Take the tank back off and open all the valves on the cooker. Close all the valves on the cooker. Put the tank back on the cooker. Open the tank just barely. Light the burners. The valve cannot be turned wide open on the newer grills.

Yep got the main oven gone......
Lucky iam good with electrics, got my brother in law to double check Qualified Elctrician it turns out that its the Thermal Fuse that has gone have ordered a new one at the cost of £8.......
This range is made by Beco thats why its hard to find info on the cooker.. The grill/fan oven has thermal fuse as well.....

Either teh grill element or the oven heating element is fault or the thermostat or grill regulator, locate which element is warm, if the grill then it is most likely the regulator, if it is the oven it is the thermostat. Engineer
