Question about Cuisinart DCC-1200 Coffee Maker
Won't power on. Try unplugging for 1 hr. Try again. I left mine unplugged for a day and it worked!

I'm on my third one in 4 years. Same problem. You can unplug and plug back in as someone else suggested, but after a while the problem just gets worse. Who wants to get up in the morning and wonder if this is the day you have to unplug it for an hour to make coffee when you have to be to work in a half hour? As soon as this starts to happen, I suggest returning it and getting a new one right away.

You probably have a 'thermo-fuse' which is blown. It's inside the coffee maker in the electrical circuit in series with the heating element. My experience tells me this device cannot be replaced except by an authorized technician/repair shop.

Did you brought it already to a specialist? or maybe to the store where you bought it? I'm sure these people will help you.
If you need to replace it with a new one, try this link.
