If it is slinging it on outside coil and not running back in on you it is normal. Evaporating the water helps cool refrigerant gas . AC units like this have a sling ring on fan. As hummidity drops in house there will be less water to sling.

Air Cools well but after about an hour, water starts coming into the coach through the discharge air side. Unit does not freeze up but if I shut the unit off, the tray that holds the water drains quickly,...

Your evaporator is probably dirty and is blocking some of the air flow so the air has to move around the coil and starts coming in through the condensate drain holes. That stops the condensation (water) from draining out the holes because the air is pushing it back in.Try having the unit cleaned and that should stop that leaking.

Yes, we have a fridgidaire FAC127S1A Model and we installed it today and are having trouble with it leaking water once it runs for a while. (The hole on the under side of the A/C.) Is this normal or is it...

If the water is leaking to the outside, that is normal. Especially if, the humidity is high outside.

If it's leaking to the inside. No, that's not normal and is due to improper installation. The rear of the unit should tilt down about 1/4" , to allow the water to drain outside via the drain pan hole.

To help you further, I have included a link to the Owner's Manual for your FAC127S1A model air conditioner. You can download and print it for future reference.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

Water Leaks inside of RV

Hi,
When that happens it is because the drain hole up on the unit gets plugged with dust and dirt...you will need to take a wire up top and run it back through the hole to clean the dirt out of the hole so the water can get out.

Water in air conditioner

A lot of the newer window units design the outside fan to pickup the condensate water and sling it onto the coil. The evaporative effect makes the unit run more efficiently. They ususally don't spit, but if the unit is running well, otherwise, I would't worry about it.

We had the same problem with this very unit. There was no drain hole so I ended up drilling an 1/8" hole in a back corner where the water pooled the most. You may want to put some sort of rust protector on the bare metal in the newly drilled hole. Btw, you really should have the unit tilted slightly (about a 1/4") so the water runs to the back of the unit.
