Minn Kota hand control motors have a small nut/bolt thru the motor shift aligning the handle with the lower unit. If yours does not line up your either missino this bolt or a previous owner altered the motor.

Unfortunately there are no cheat codes available for Dead Island on the Xbox 360. If you're interested in modding your save file then you can look up a program called Modio, and you can probably mod a little bit of cheating into your save such as giving you a bunch of money. Do your own research into the matter though, as modding isn't for everyone and it has some risks involved such as getting your save corrupted. Best of luck to you, Dead Island was kind of a doozy for me too. Thankfully I played on PC so I had cheats available ^_^
You have to put all of the juice boxes in the back of your truck, 4 boxes of them, and than drive it over to the hideout. That should work properly. Although dead island does have alot of bugs, that should work.
If this is happening on multiple Xbox consoles with the same disc then it could be due to the disc being scratched. If replacing the disc is not an option then I would suggest installing the game onto your Xbox hard drive. If this is happening with multiple discs on multiple Xbox consoles then one of the disc drives may be damaging the discs.
This could also be a known issue with the game itself that may have been patched. Make sure you download all updates for this game on Xbox live.
There is more than the shaft, there is the housing and then everything needs to fit and have correct clearances.....I suggest sell the old one and get a 52 inch new one...
