Runs about 15 minutes and shuts off

hello!are you sure, there is no "off" timer involved? or "sleep timer" getting pushed on remote control? If not: D.L.P. or L.C.D. projectors might have the lamp on a brink of life. Heats up, then quits. May be the picture was quite dim for a while? time to replace the lamp! get lam with housing! don't try to be smart...! It's very simple task to replace the first, rather than save a 10 bucks and get things messed up. I've seen it many times! You need to know "how to" for bare lamp. no need to special knowledge to replace lamp with housing. Just locate the lamp door, unscrew the door, then lamp and go ahead with installation. If you have an old fashion CRT(picture tube) projector, that's a major job! It might shut down due to numerous issues. As of the faulty parts or solder joints or both. there is no such a remedy for a "big screen TV", unless somebody knows exact cause, make, model, etc.Good luck,Alex.

Ware is the bulb located in the 50inch magnavox

  • hello here is what you need to know .on the location of your lamp & the right way to replace it. first thing is to, Turn off and unplug the unit before you replace the lamp.
  • Take care that no screws or other metal objects fall into the display interior. Such items could cause fire or electrical shock.
  • Do not remove the lamp except to replace it. Careless handling can cause injury or fire.
  • Do not replace the lamp immediately after the display is turned off. The high temperature of the lamp could cause serious burns. Allow the lamp to cool down at least two hours after turning off the display. display. 051021165929_314.gifthank you for useing .

Can't locate housing

The lamp comes out the front of the tv. There is a rectagle pice of plastic on the front that pops off and then there is a lamp door about 8 inches left of center with one screw in it. take that one screw off so you can get to the lamp, then take the screw out of the lamp and it slides right out.
Let me know if you need any more help!
