Stereo Problem! No Output from front speakers, front PreAmp-out and headphon jack! which section of the board is faulty?

No Stereo output from front speakers. No Stereo output from front preamp out. No output from headphone jack. All other speakers and preamps-out work very well without any noise. I need to know in which section of the board there might be a problem. Regards.

SOURCE: Marantz SR7500 headphone jack stopped working

There is a contact inside the jack that is closed when the plug is inserted. Apparently this is no longer happening. This should be an easy repair for a qualified technician.

SOURCE: how do i attatch preamp to marantz sr9200 for phono

If you are talking about a phono preamp, take the output rca cables from the turntable, "red and white" plug it into the preamp input, "labled" next take a red and white cable wire male ends, "3 to 6" feet long, and plug the one end in the output of the preamp, "labled" and finally plug the remainder into the AUX input of the Marantz receiver matching the colour codes so the left and right channels don't get mixed up, you now should be good to go.

I have a Pyramid GA810 guitar amp. No signal out of preamp. I cleaned all the pots and input jacks. I used a signal tracer and only have a signal to the first pot, (gain). Any thoughts?

Based on the information you've provided, it sounds like the issue with your Pyramid GA810 guitar amp may be with the preamp section of the circuit. Since you have cleaned the pots and input jacks, it's unlikely that they are causing the problem.
Here are a few things you could try to troubleshoot the preamp section:
  1. Check the power supply: Make sure that the preamp section is receiving power. Check the power supply components and ensure that they are functioning correctly.
  2. Check the signal path: Using your signal tracer, trace the signal through the preamp circuit and look for any components that may be faulty. Check for cold solder joints, bad components, or broken traces on the circuit board.
  3. Check the output section: It's possible that the issue could be with the output section of the circuit, rather than the preamp section. Check the output stage components, including any power transistors, and make sure that they are functioning correctly.
  4. Seek professional help: If you are not experienced in working with electronics, it may be best to seek the help of a qualified technician. They will have the necessary expertise and tools to diagnose and repair the issue with your amplifier.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello, I have a Sony STR-D85 surround sound system. I need to connect my phone to the system so that my phone's music plays through my surround sound speakers. The front of the console has a headphone...

Headphone jack is an output not input jack. Your going to need a cord to go from your headphone jack(output) of your phone to audio input on your receiver. The cord has a mini stereo plug to the phone and RCA plugs of left and right to your receiver auxiliary input. Good luck..

I have a LG 19LE3300 television and i whant to be able to connect an Infra red headphone while being able to listen by the speakers at the same time. actually when i connect the hearphone it disconnect...

Hi,
First you need to make a test to adjust your headphones wireless system..
.pls follow the step below:
  • "Connect the headphone base" TO " headphones output of TV" with 3.5mm stereo headphone jack cable (than Tv should mute ) Infra red headphone pilot lamp should flicker in parallel to voice coming from TV
  • Infra red headphone should have a rotary adjustment on it.. "Volume" adjustment
  • while TV talking , when you sit in front of the Infra red headphone (it works point-to-point ) you will hear the voice of TV, than adjust volume properly...Thats it..now lets go to second step..
  • Your headphone's Base should either "3.5mm stereo headphone jack" or "RCA Stereo jacks" or "bot"h..After completion of this test ,I recommend you to switch / use "RCA Audio output plugs-white/Red cable " on the back of TV instead of TV's headphone output ,since it mutes the whole sound..RCA output plugs of TV work independently from the TV's master volume control..of course you need RCA cable to connect this..
Hope this helps!..if more help requires pls let me know.
Take care and please

Want to connect pc speakers and subwoofer to lg37lc55 tv unfortunaly it doesnt have an earphone 3.5 connection point. My other smaller tv does, the speakers and subwoofer consist of a white and red audio...

Hello,
Your TV should have an AUDIO OUTPUT other than optic..at least " Headphones" output..
You can connect TV audio output with a RCA cable.
white and red audio jack....
since SUB has both RCA and "3,5mm Headphone female Jack"..here are the options;
** you need to buy a cable one end 3,5mm MALE headphone jack and the other end 2xRCA stereo (or 1x RCA for mono or you may need "Y cable " ) to be connected to your TV...
** or 2x RCA
white and red audio jack and connect from your TV..
**" "Headphones" output to SUB with 3,5 male-to-male cable ( the least recommended)
And you need to connect front, centre and rear speakers to your SUB as well...
Take care and if it succeeds please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up

NO SOUND

Blown soeaker or amp. Only way to analyze is to open it aand do testing. First plug headphones into the 1/4 inch line output jack and see if anything comes through... it will only be in one ear as the ouptu is not a stereo output... If it comes to there, then the preamp and line driver is working, leaving the speaker and power amp suspect. If nothing ocmes out, I suspect the power SUPPLY might have failed.

Fender Hot Rod Deluxe has very little sound, stuck and need help! Turn it on and all of tubes light up. Has a horrible muffled sound with volume at 5. Master volume can be put to any level, and it doesn't...

Just because tubes light up does NOT mean they are good or working... While heaters not lit are an indication of failure, teh reverse is not necessarily true.
Time to troubleshoot this... Plug a set of headphones into teh preamp out. See if audio there is clean... it will be low level using headphones and ONLY from one side as the output is mono and your headphones are stereo usually... If audio is clean here and not muffled, then problem is in power amp section else in the early stages of the unit.

No I don't think so . These are complex units . If your headphones work then is routing the sound to the output circuit then you should get sound out the output jacks. Are your speakers turned off or set to output to speakers b ? Give me more details at [email protected] I'll try and walk you through it. Larry's Electronics

My sony dav-s-400 system keeps activating headphone port output.

Just had and fixed the same problem that hundreds of people are suffering with this system!!
Sony DAV s400 - same problem, won't play though speakers and display indicates that headphones are plugged in - when they are not. Fairly easy to fix and took me less than an hour from start to finish:
1) Remove top cover
2) Remove circuit board that has Audio In/Out phono scockets (to get access to Amplifier Circuit Board)
3) Remove Amplifier circuit board (has the speakers attached)
4) Turn it over and remove copper heat shield
5) Resolder joints where the big brown capacitor is and where the wires go to the front headphone socket...and any other dodgy joints that you find
6) Reassemble.
