Universal Remote Control code for neonIQ LCF3218

I am guessing you have a universal remote to replace the original NeonIQ remote. If so, you can use the universal's "code search" feature to find a code that will work. Codes are stored in the remote. If a thorough search does not turn up a usable code, you may have to try another universal remote. Not all codes are stored in every universal remote.

My Sony VCR Model SLV-662HF will not accept cassettes. I am using a universal remote control. The VCR's display shows APC 71501 and 81508. Do these APC codes refer to the VCR or the All In One universal...

The codes are to program the universal remote control to communicate with the Sony VCR. Try programming the universal remote using one of these: 60000 60032 60033 60035
The acceptance of the cassettes may not be related to the use of a universal remote control. If the URC doesn't have the "equivalent" functionality of the VCR's original remote control, you may not be able to use the URC to perform the functions of the original remote control.

Universal remote for RCA tv channel 1

Something missing here. There is no channel 1 on a TV set. None of the universal remote instructions I have or have seen specify that as a first step. From your post, I believe you want to use some kind of universal remote to control an RCA flat panel TV, Can you tell me the brand of universal remote you are trying to use? The answer to the last line of your post is you don't need the original remote to "reprogram". That's what universal remotes do

Polaroid remote tdac-02212 code?

If you are using a universal do not expect it to even if it programs to have all the functions you need or want or had with the original remote.

Universal remotes are far from UNIVERSAL.

The best argument for an original remote is even if it programs it will just not have all the features needed or wanted that the original had.

Hope this clears things up a little.

You would be better to get another original remote---Universal remotes if they will program will be missing a lot essential functions the original had.

Can you use a universal remote or do i need original if i can which one

Hello Jacob. Thanks for choosing Fixya! You can surely use a universal remote. That said, there are many different universal remotes in a number of price ranges. Do go to a Staples or a Walmart and talk with the technician about which remote will work best for you. Logitech Harmony is pricey but it will control all of your devices. Check it out at Best Buy or on the net at

Remote control switch destroyed

If you get an universal remote, you won't have all functions to control the TV. Moreover, the codes for many audiovox model are often not reported on universal remote manuals , therefore you may need to use autodetect feature on universal remote.

The best choice is buying a replacement original remote like the ones below:

New Original TruTech PLV31199S1 Remote Control

$39.95 -

New Original Trutech PLV31199S1 Remote Control $39.95
