I have listed two different machines in your question--which is it? If it's a Singer, you can download the user's manual free from the Singer Sewing Machine site. It will tell you how to do that.

I have an error code7 and 4 on my Janome 770 qcp. I've cleaned it, and when I turn it back on it will not centre the needle.

Error codes 7 and 4 on a Janome 770 QCP indicate a problem with the needle bar and/or threading mechanism. Try checking the needle bar and ensuring it is properly positioned and tightened. If the needle bar is not in the correct position, it can cause the needle to be out of center. Additionally, make sure the thread is properly threaded through the machine, including the take-up lever, needle, and thread guides. If the issue persists, you may need to consult a professional

Janome memorycraft3500 can I move the needle position?

You can change the needle position for some stitches with the needle position key (this is also the zig-zag width adjustment key). See page 13 (page15 of the PDF) of the Memory Craft 3500 manual for the list of straight stitches that can be moved to the right, left or centered. Janome has this manual on their retired machine support page: https://www.janome.com/support/retired-machine-manuals/ . It's in the Computer Models section. The current link to the manual is https://www.janome.com/siteassets/support/manuals/retired/computer/inst-book-mc3500.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Janome mc5200 sewing machine E3 code need to fix it myself. Cannot find it in my instruction book

Hello Dear Jeff Moore!
greeting
FYI......
Needle bar is out of position. Press OK to move the needle bar to switching position. (Needle bar change over phase.) 3. Remove the stationary cover then turn the hand wheel to 270°. Using a 2.5mm hex driver, turn the silver gear on the needle-change step motor to move the head from needle bar #1 to #4 then back to #1 to check for any binds. If there is a bind, adjust 'head play' as shown in the service manual. 4. Check and adjust 'moving head stop position' and 'needle stop position' as shown in the service manual.

I have a Skyline S5 and it talks about it having 91 needle positions and I don't see anywhere you can change the needle position. Could you explain please?

You should probably ask your local Janome dealer. I can't imagine needing that many needle positions for regular sewing, but perhaps they are necessary to create embroidery.

Janome MC9400.Can needle position on U6 stretch stitch be altered.I want it to go more to the right. Also is there a way to just alter needle position without selecting a stitch first?

The width of the needle setting is limited by the width of the hole in the needle plate and the presser foot. You really don't want to alter this unless it has been knocked off its specified setting.

Some machines are straight-stitch only, some have 3 position settings (left, center, right), and some newer machines have a variety of needle position settings. Whichever your machine has is what you can use.

Why does my machine keeps coming up with needle bar is out of position and won't do anything?

Humm, sounds like the needle change sensor is telling you that the machine is not properly centered on ANY needle position. It is between needles. There should be a knob to turn that move the head from needle to needle. once the needle position has been centered.

My janome 11000 memorycraft's needle threader has jammed in the down position and cannot be moved

Thanks to floraq803, we have our 11000 working again. The needle threader was stuck in the down position. We turned off the machine, and turned the wheel (which controls where the needle is) until the needle threader bar was straight (approximately 1/2 way between the needle being all the way down and all the way up). Turned on the machine and the threader came back up again. Now back to sewing.
