First, i'm jealous. very nice cards.

secondly, you may be able to run it, but i wouldn't recommend it. those cards recommend 400w to run. i would seriously consider getting a bigger supply

your power supply is at the edge, so i'd suggest going for 650W power supply. your mainboard will support the graphics card but as i said - you need better PSU

Try newegg.com, tigerdirect.com,directron.com,geeks.com. You want a Core 2 Duo cpu fan oem (socket LGA 775). Should be able to get one around 10 dollars or so plus shipping. You can pay more for a bigger fan but you really would not need it. OEM will be just fine.

What is the best configuration for intel d945gcnlboard.what is higher capaacity(ram , cpu)of that he can support.

This mainboard uses ddr2 ram and has 2 slots. The max ram that can be run is 4 gigs. Thats 2 2gig sticks.

The CPUs supported are the types lited below.

Intel Pentium 4 Intel 945GC
Intel Pentium D Intel 945GC
Intel Celeron D Intel 945GC
Intel Core 2 Duo Intel 945GC

The socket type is intel socket 775. Almost any of the socket 775 Core 2 Duo processors would work well for you.

You should get a quad core processor, with a minimum of 3 to 4 gigs of ram, and an asus SLI or crossfire Motherboard. This and a nice 1 terrabite drive can be done for under $500.00, unfoutunatelly, thats just the way they make it. I PLAY cod4, and I run a dual core with 2 gigs of ram and a $300.00 asus MB, with twin 7900 video cards in sli. and it just about runs it, the new games are processor and ram intense, let alone video cards. I would suggest a single card if cost is a factor, you can always add a second or even a third card later. But the you don't want to be the slowest guy playing, especially if you like first person multiplayer shooters

Try increasing your RAM to 2GB ... 1GB is barely enough to run the OS, let alone an app or two.

Do i have to face any heating problems with the mentioned config?

If you are NOT going to overclock the CPU and memory, it should work easy.

New C2D processors are quite cool.

Also you shoult pay attention to a good Power supply, and maybe enough big case with place for front and rear extra fans,
If you face heating problems later, you may put those two fans.

Regards.

Fans run at full speed under normal task.

THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE CPU AND MB AND PSU IS NOT COOLING OFF ENOUGH AND CAUSING THE FAN TO RUN ON HIGH ALL THE TIME, THE PSU MAY NOT HAVE ENOUGH WATTS POWER TO RUN THE CONFIGURATION TO KEEP THE SYSTEM AND HARDWARE TO COOL.

I READ IT IN ONE OF MY PC MAGAZINE, ANOTHER PERSON UPRADED SYSTEM, ADDED SOME OTHER STUFF BUT THE MB AND POWER SUPPLY UNIT DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH WATTS TO SUPPORT BASIC REQUIREMENTS OPERATING THE SYSTEM BASIC NEEDS.
FIND SOFTWARE THAT KEEPS EYE ON HEAT ISSUES, MB, VIDEO CARD, RAM, PS, CPU, CPU COOLERS, NIC CARDS, SOUND CARDS,
ETC.
EACH PART REQUIRES SO MUCH POWER
AND HERE HOW IT BRAKE DOWN FOR EACH COMPONET

MB 20-35+ WATTS
CD ROM 20-25 WATTS
DVD 30-45 WATTS
DISK DRIVE 5 WATTS
HD 5-15 WATTS
STANDARD VIDEO VARD 5-15 WATTS
MEMORY 5 WATTS PER MB

NEW SYSTEMS WITH THE FOLLOWING STUFF IN IT FLOPPY DRIVE,CD-ROM, MB, 16MB RAM, REQUIRES A MIN. 150 WATTS OF POWER.

BUT I KNOW YOU MAY HAVE TOP OF THE LINE VIDEO CARD WITH GGR4 WITH 512MB
MEMORY, 2-8 GIG OF RAM, 23 INCH LCD MONITOR, 2 500GB HD, BLUETOOTH AND WIRELESS NETORK, AND WIFI CAPABILITIES,
NEW DUAL CORE CPU TOP LINE MOTHERBOARD, COOLED VIDEO CARD,RAM COOLER ALSO AND THIS SYSTEM POWER WATTAGE REQUIREMENTS MAYBE SOME WHERE AROUND 400-600 WATT, AND MOST OF THAT IS FOR THE SYSTEM RAM AND THE VIDEO RAM YOU ARE RUNNING
REMEMBER 5 WATTS PER 1 MEGABYTE OF
RAM
IT WILL ADD UP FAST BOY'S AND GAL'S

ROD

PS I HOPE I DIDNT BORE ANYONE,
IT MAY SAVE YOUR SYSTEM FROM BURNING UP.
