Question about Canon PowerShot A75 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Red/Orange light can't take pictures.

I have a canon PowerShot A75 Digital Camera and whenever I click the button to take a picture i get an orange light(not on the LCD), and a green box on the LCD that is never in the same spot. It's almost like this green box is picking out an area because it's not a filled box. Please help? I'm not to good with cameras.

My canon powershot a75 wont take photos it turns on but i cant take any pictures

I think you can not see live view in Canon A75 to take picture.
If its correct then it is problem of bad cd imager sensor and that part requires replacement.
Canon will repair Canon A75 Free of Cost as per announced scheme.

I have a canon powershot 750

An ideea would be pressing the button a little bit harder and a little bit longer. Most of the cameras have that orange light before the flash(that appears when you press harder on the button) to reduce the red-eye effect in the pictures.
If this doesn't work, look carefully in the manual or the settings of your camera and try to find an option that turns on the flash. Also the type of the picture(indoor, sunny, night etc) can automatically disable the flash.
As a last resort, here is the camera's manual

Canon Powershot A75 problems ________________________________________ I have a Canon powershot A75 Digital camera its about a 11 months old and has a few problems now. 1. zoom doesn't work any more 2....

Having read on a few sites about loose ribbon wires causing problems and having this same problem. I decide to take the camera apart. Taking all the screws out and fidling with the "wires" connecting the zoom control and the photo type selector and the main circ board. I also cleaned the connector from the picture type selector. Then put it all back together the camera works fine again. NOTES... lots of small screws with varying lengths make sure you know where they come from. Took about 1 hour to do.Put back in the order you take apart or the back will not go back on.. Good luck have just saved myself a fortune
