Hi,

If you are unable to get power to Control Panel, More likely its a BAD CONTROL PANEL.Replace and get it fixed.

Look at the part number and search on sites like :-

http://www.espares.co.uk/parts?k=control+panel

If found, that's good. Unless, look on AEG website :-

http://www.aeg-electrolux.co.uk/webshop/node21.aspx?wscid=11

Hi

If your dishwasher doesn't work at all, check these:
Power from the house Is there power getting to the dishwasher? This can be difficult to test, because dishwashers are usually wired directly to an electrical circuit, rather than plugged into the wall. But at least check for a blown fuse or a tripped circuit breaker. Most common d/w power is 120 volts, check for 120 volts with a volt meter at the main power harness where it enters into the dishwasher, you will have to remove the lower access panels to get to the power box. Dishwashers also have at least one and most newer dishwashers have two door switches that must be checked. You will find then behind the console at the door latch area. Each manufacture has different designs but this is a picture of what some of the newer dishwasher switches look like.

Door switch The door switch is important because, if it's defective, the dishwasher won't work at all. To reach it, you need to remove the control panel cover, or sometimes the interior liner of the door. If it's defective, you need to completely replace it.

Wiring Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the dishwasher, burns and breaks the connection. If that's the problem, the wires must be repaired/replaced as necessary. If that's not the problem, check the wiring to the door switch, the wiring between the door and the lower part of the dishwasher, and the wiring to the timer. Repair any broken, burned, brittle, or defective wiring, using the proper appliance-grade wire and connectors.

Timer or selector switch Although it's uncommon, the timer or the selector switch may be defective. If so, you need to replace the defective part, because neither of these can be repaired.

Thanks

Have you checked the wiring to the contol board as that could be burned. Repair any broken, burned, brittle, or defective wiring, using the proper appliance-grade wire and connectors. If the wiring is fine then you need to replace the fuse.

AEG favorit sensorlogic has no power.

Electronic is protected against short circuit throught out VDR - voltage dependent resistor which is located on the electronics. Unfortunately, when this happens usually get hurt some other component part or burn printed circuit boards.

Any intervention on electronics requires qualified person otherwise there is the risk of fire or electric shock.

I have an AEG Favorit Sensorlogic Turbodry and it wony start. You switch it on and the onlycycle button that lets you press it is AUTO but it does nothing and then after a couple of minutes it just starts...

could be the drain pump thats blocked /jammed or faulty. the first 2mins the pump is energised if it does not run the electronics sense this and cancel the prog. Also similar if no water supply or if water valve faulty after 5mins. Dont think it will be aqua flood control as pump would run and alarm sound instantly. more mysterious problems can be heater down to earth. and lastly the electronics itself.check the others first though.

Our AEG Favorit Sensorlogic dishwasher has had no power to it

Open the lower front panel and locate where the water inlet hose is connected. Shut the water off under the sink, disconnect the hose at the water inlet solenoid, then put the loose end into a bowl or pan and turn the under-sink valve on slowly. Do you get water flowing from the hose? If so, then check the solenoid water inlet valve for damage. If the coil is ok, the valve part may be stuck closed. It should make a firm 'click' when the timer is set to start the machine (leave the hose loose). If it doesn't click, the coil may be bad, the valve may be stuck, or the timer is not sending 115 volts to the solenoid. Try a new valve first. If still no click, you may need the professional service. Good luck!

I don't have the answer - but mine has been doing this too. There's now a metalic/electical smell that has me worried so I've resorted to a basin of water and fairy liquid! Did you solve your problem?
