Downloading pictures with sandisk imagemate

I have taken some new pictures which I am able to view on my camera. When I insert the memory card into the sandisk image mate to view them on my computer, I can only view the first 14 "old" pictures that I had downloaded a while ago. How can I get the new pictures to download onto the computer?

Create a New Document
There are several ways to create new documents, open existing documents, and save documents in Word:

  • Click the Microsoft Office Button officebutton.gif and Click New or
  • Press CTRL+N (Depress the CTRL key while pressing the "N") on the keyboard

You will notice that when you click on the Microsoft Office Button and Click New, you have many choices about the types of documents you can create. If you wish to start from a blank document, click Blank. If you wish to start from a template you can browse through your choices on the left, see the choices on center screen, and preview the selection on the right screen.

Opening an Existing Document

  • Click the Microsoft Office Button officebutton.gif and Click Open, or
  • Press CTRL+O (Depress the CTRL key while pressing the "O") on the keyboard, or
  • If you have recently used the document you can click the Microsoft Office Button and click the name of the document in the Recent Documents section of the window Insert picture of recent docs

Saving a Document

  • Click the Microsoft Office Button officebutton.gif and Click Save or Save As (remember, if you're sending the document to someone who does not have Office 2007, you will need to click the Office Button, click Save As, and ClickWord 97-2003 Document), or
  • Press CTRL+S (Depress the CTRL key while pressing the "S") on the keyboard, or
  • Click the File icon on the Quick Access Toolbar

Renaming Documents
To rename a Word document while using the program:

  • Click the Office Button officebutton.gif and find the file you want to rename.
  • Right-click the document name with the mouse and select Rename from the shortcut menu.
  • Type the new name for the file and press the ENTER key.

Working on Multiple Documents
Several documents can be opened simultaneously if you are typing or editing multiple documents at once. All open documents will be listed in the View Tab of the Ribbon when you click on Switch Windows. The current document has a checkmark beside the file name. Select another open document to view it.

Document Views
There are many ways to view a document in Word.

  • Print Layout: This is a view of the document as it would appear when printed. It includes all tables, text, graphics, and images.
  • Full Screen Reading: This is a full view length view of a document. Good for viewing two pages at a time.
  • Web Layout: This is a view of the document as it would appear in a web browser.
  • Outline: This is an outline form of the document in the form of bullets.
  • Draft: This view does not display pictures or layouts, just text.

To view a document in different forms, click the document views shortcuts at the bottom of the screen documentviewsshort.gif or:

  • Click the View Tab on the Ribbon
  • Click on the appropriate document view.

Close a Document
To close a document:

  • Click the Office Button
  • Click Close

The formatting goes off alignment when exported to PDF

Hi mr .

Insert your ( memory card , flash disk , cellphone , .... ) into your computer.
Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

I am working with a file in Word 2000 that now has 12099 kb. When I try to save it, I get a message saying: "Save failed due to out of memory or disc space." My c drive still has 217 gb of free space,...

The message (a catch-all for anything that the system doesn't understand) usually indicates that the document is starting to corrupt. Try opening the document using the Detect and Repair option which should find the corruption for you.

With a document this size, it is important to try and get the size down. I
recommend that graphics are edited in an editor outside Word (such as the free IrfanView) where the size and resolution should be reduced and the graphic saved in jpeg before inserting into Word. Use Insert, Picture from File: don't copy and paste the graphics. If graphics are only going to be viewed on screen, then 72dpi or 96dpi is more than sufficient. If the document is for eventual printing, then 300dpi should suffice.

If the document is still large after editing all the graphics, then I
recommend linking them rather than inserting them.

You can save as Rich Text File, and if you remove the Save AutoRecover option from Tools/Options in MS Word you can temporarily save files.

Also in some cases the problem can be your printer (HP mainly because they update regularly) Try removing the software for the printer and see if that fixes the problem, as it suggests the problem isn't
Word but something attached or associated to Word.

Good luck.

Changes from slide to slide

it's likely that the rest of each slide is not exaclty equal (e.g. the amount of text) which could push the picture a little bit in one direction or another or make powerpoint automatically resize the picture or text objects to fit the slide. I'd have to really see the slide presentation to be 100% sure but orientation on each slide is likely the cause.
