on the properties ,disable duplex function

check if your syste4m is 64-bit. If yes, there's no solution, Canon have no drivers for xp/vista/win7 x64 for older printers, like lbp2900

It should not come all the way out. Just till it stops, then the new cartridge locks onto the top of the hopper. Once you have pulled out the shutter, the toner falls into the hopper. Pushing tghe shutter closed causes the cartridge to pop up in the front so it can then be removed and thrown away, the cartridge does not stay in the machine.

The solution for your printer is that you re-install your printer drivers this should solve your problem. You can also try to take the ink cartirage out and give the cartirage head a wipe with a tissue. I hopr this helps you.
