I keep getting the message 'no audio output device'

I keep getting the message 'no audio output device is installed' on my toshiba u 305- s 2812 laptop. I repeatedly install the realtek audio device from the toshiba website...and restart my computer which may or may not have installed the sound device (more often than not i need to redo the process). Of late i have run the installation process over 8-10 times without any luck .

I reinstalled windows 7 in my toshiba l30-114 laptop .Now i'm getting a message that no output audio device is installed.what should i do?

Hi there,
Go to the support section of Toshiba's website. You should see a page for drivers and downloads. You'll need to enter the make and model of your Toshiba laptop, then download the latest sound card drivers. Once you've installed the drivers correctly, restart your computer and you should be good to go.

No audio output device installed

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. The drivers are not installed for your Toshiba notebook. You'll need to download & install the audio drivers. You can either download and install it from the drivers & utilities disk that you have got with your notebook. Or can download from this link by selecting the model number of your notebook--

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

My sound is not working. Says correct driver is installed for Realtek HD Audio but I get message: "This device cannot start. (Code 10)." Also, I think it is related as my sound stopped working when I...

Actually you are not completely install your Realtek HD Audio. Continue to install with that "unknown device on high definition audio bus"by using your TOSHIBA Utility Disc you have. Let the system search the driver from the CD/DVD inserted. Then follow the instruction to complete your sound installation.
Tell us more what next is the problem unresolved but i'm sure that is works.
Hope this might help you.
Good luck!
