Question about Amana ARGS7650 Electric Kitchen Range
Range is about 4 yrs old, came with house. oven will heat up then turn itself off displaying I'm assuming a fault code F3. It won't do it all the time. Have any suggestions?
Open or shorted oven temperature sensor
Replace oven temperature sensor
Oven temp. sensor needs to be replaced. You should be able to look at diagrams with the model # for part location @ http://www3.sears.com/ or http://www.appliancepartspros.com/. The sensor looks like a rod about 4-6 inches long and mounted to the back wall inside the oven. Some can be pulled out from insided the oven by taking out the two screws. If no screws then you will have to pull the oven out and remove from the back.
