All emails are required by law (Federal Can-Spam Act) to have a link to opt-out of receiving the email. For most emails, there is typically an Unsubscribe link at the bottom. They are often pretty small, but they are there. Click that link to be unsubscribed from the email list, which means you stop receiving future emails.

Thread on my BabyLock Lyric continually "jumps" out of the take up leaver, thread wraps around the hinge inside. The bobbin thread tangles and jams. I have to rethread my machine every few minutes

This would imply severe uneven feed of top thread and/or complete loss of tension.

So either the top thread is snagging as it feeds from spool or is otherwise somehow catching. Or the tension is somehow going to no tension (as if foot up).

Make sure the spool cap is larger than the end of the spool and the spool can turn freely on the spindle.

Test that top thread feeds smoothly by selecting tension 4, placing needle up and foot down. Then make a long slow steady pull of top thread. It should advance smoothly through the needle eye with even tension. Any sudden change in tension is suspect. You might try several long pulls.

I don't know how the control button tension selection mechanism works, but if you don't find any other reason for this behavior it might be suspect.

The only other thing i can think of is the top thread is somehow twisting as it comes off the spool. Enough twist and it might form a loop and snare the hinge.

May be try a completely different spool of top thread as a test. That's about all I can think of at the moment.

Where can i get a foot pedal for my sunbeam sb08k machine

You should go back to Amazon with your problem. If the ad said it was included, Amazon should make it good.

Sunbeam sb08k foot control Google Search

Otherwise, you can probably take your machine to a sewing repair shop and ask if they have a pedal that will work on your machine. They need to check the plug on your machine to make sure what they have will connect.

I\'m not sure what you mean by "reel", but if you are referring to the spool pin which holds your thread, then you don\'t really have to have that. I use a spool stand instead. Then I can use any kind of thread without having to buy the little bitty spools. This is just an example of one style of thread holder. It is by far the cheapest way to replace a missing thread pin.

Amazon com Single Cone Thread Stand With Metal Base Thread Cone Rack

Some people also use a simple cup, and drop the thread inside, so that it doesn\'t unroll all over the work surface. Then thread the machine normally. If the thread needs to be directed to the first spot, a binder clip, attached to the handle of your machine, works really well as an extra "eye" to put the thread through, and secures it quite well.

Needle not lined up with hole in presser foot

Is it also hitting the needle plate? if so then you need to move the arm the adjustment is internal and you\'ll have to disassemble the clam shell case of the machine. May be best to have a pro fix it for you.

I am looking for a manual for a Husqvarna Viking 350 computer sewing machine. Where can I get one?

One place you might try would be at www.sewingpartsonline.com Although I didn't see the manual you are looking for advertised, (they did have a 350 manual), they also said to send an email to [email protected] and ask for your specific manual. Also, you might want to check this website: http://www.tradebit.com It looks like they sell all sorts of manuals. I did find your manual, but putting the machine name in the search box. Of course it's always a good idea to keep an idea on eBay. I checked today but didn't see one, but you just never know. I checked on Amazon, and they had some parts, but no manual. But in the ads at the bottom of the page, they did recomend the first site I mentioned. Good luck!

How do i set the tension on my brother xl-3010 sewing machine . the bottom thread is always in knots but the top stitch is perfect. i do not know which wheel to turn for the bottom tension.

I don't have this machine, but the tension on the bobbin is usually set by the tiny screw on the bobbin case. insert the bobbin into the case so that the thread unrolls counter clockwise. Make sure that there is no lint in the bobbin area.

Sew Cute SC20 Mechanical Sewing Machine: how to thread sew cute machine ...

Place the origin bobbin thread so the thread is coming up (clockwise) extend to the thread tention, to the top thread holder, then down through the arm and then through the bottom thread holder, through the square thread guide above the needle, then through the needle, front to back. Check out a picture on ebay or amazon. That could help you visualize it.
If you are having trouble with the thread breaking, try changing the thread on the bobbins. The thread that comes with the machine is poor quality and jams & breaks. If you still have trouble, and might suspect the needle is dull or bent. Change it, it makes a difference. I had the thread problem with the machine right out of the box. Changed it and it works great!

I can not thread a bobbin to save my life. Help.

first, google your sewing machines name and model number and "manual" or "users guide" and you can find the link to the PDF download. Here is what I found:

1 Raise the needle to its highest position by turning the balance whell toward you (counterclockwise) and raise the presserfoot lever. Slide the button and open cover.
2 insert the bobbin so the thread comes out in a clockwise direction. Use bobbins intended for this machine. !CAUTION! Be sure the bobbin is set so the thread unrols in the correct direction. If the thread unrolls in the wrong direction, it may cause the thread tension to be incorrect or the needle to break.
3 Hold the thread end, push the bobbin down with your finger, and pass the thread securely through the thread cutting groove.
4 Replce the bobbin cover. Place the left tab in place then press lightly on the right side until the cover clicks into place. *insert the cover so that the end of the thread comes out from the back of the cover.

good luck and G.Bless!
