ViviCam 8025, not recognizing SD

Just got my ViviCam 8025, it is not recognizing that I have a SDcard and when it does it always says card is full, I have tried several brand new cards and always get the same result. I have tried formatting the card with the same result.

Take out the battery, then insert the sd card until it clicks in and stays. Then replace the battery. This should work.

My ViviCam 8025 always says "CARD PROTECTED" With my SD memory card, how can I fix that?

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

If that doesn't work, try another card.

I just got a new vivitar vivicam 8025 and put a new sd card in and it says the card is full

1. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "reset"...follow the on-screen instructions. 2. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. 3. Insert the new card and do the "format" thing again to optimize the new card.

My vivitar vivicam 8025 (pink) won't recognise my sd card, how do I get it to work?

How large is the card? I don't think the 8025 can use anything bigger than 1 or 2gb.

New sd card says full

Check and make sure the SD card is in all the way, it should make a clicking sound when it's in all the way. I had this same problem with my Vivicam 8025. Hope this helps!
