I have a canon imageclass mf 4150 toner ran out and we installed new toner. now it will not work keep getting error message, "toner not set insert toner" tried 2 new cartridges both get the same message
hi im jules_09.canon use a magnetic type of toner are you sure the toner you have is right?if you replace the toner already just let it warm up for a while then let the copier free run.sometimes it takes time for the toner to mix in the d v unit.

- if that doesnt work go to program then use toner force supply thats what i do if the toner error is on if that still does not work replace the d v unit there its deffective already.all dv unit especially non magnetic has a copy limit if you reach that limit you will replace it otherwise the toner will not work that goes with magnetic type of d v unit
The problem is with the paper tray not the toner, believe it or not. Take all of the paper out of the tray and then reinsert the paper into the tray. It should then work fine.
