It's brand new and only produced a cup of coffee even though I filled the base with enough water for 6. It just stopped spouting out of the top compartment and sat on the stove doing nothing.
Sat on the stove and did nothing! Fire the credent!!!Is the water getting hot enough? Here is an idea, take it back to the store and get a dufferent model, or a straight across echange.I have a notion to buy one just to take it apart and see whats going on, There are so many on this forum I don't knpw whythey are bothered wirh. No offense to your preference and good taste but if twas and seriously fond of expresso, buy one at a t a restaraunt supply store. I'm sorry that was not an answer abd I know those machines are way over priced. It is frustrating me and I don't care for expresso myself. Take it bake and raise cain over it.. Expired warrantee or not. Send me a copy of the receipt and I'll write or call the manufacturer myself. Let me have their phone number, also. Ned Cook
The funnel cup where you put the coffee may be bent out of shape, even slightly will be enough to let the pressure escape without the steam properly going through the cofee.

How long does it take for the water to reach the top of the tank? Also, the sales clerk sold me some number 1 filters. I wasn't sure if I where to put them or if she sold me something that I didn't need for the Biolette Mocha Express.

My bialetti coffee maker ends up boiling the coffee if left on the stove. Is it meant to do this? Should the valve not release the pressure?

When I first got my Bialetti Mukka, it would leak from the sides. Online, I found the fix of soaking the O-ring in hot water before using. I was using Peets ground coffee and it worked fine for months.
Now, I switched coffees (one fine grind Nero, one medium ground Fresh n Easy), and water comes out clear. However, if I turn it off for a while when water first steams through, then turn it back on, it comes out with coffee. Anyone have this problem or know a fix? I've tried tampering with temperature, high, low, still same problem.
Thanks!

The pressure valve on my Bialetti 6-cup Moka espresso coffee maker blew out after 1 month. I have had another unit for nearly 30 years (it still uses the same replacement gasket and basket as the new one), and the pressure valve is still intact on that one. I did not subject the new unit to more heat than the older one. 1) Can I re-set the valve (there were no instructions in the box) 2) If not, where can I get a replacement valve. 3) Why do you think the pressure valve blew out when the older one has never blown out?

When I add water to the bottom (top of the filter) I can not get water to drop down into the chamber and can not make coffee. It looks clean. What is the little valve on the side for?
