Question about Philips GOGEAR SA6045 MP3 Player
There must be some discs or software that you need to install and after a format and getting the software to synch it that should resolve it - am guessing they have made there own software that should format it correctly for you.

File system error can appear due to unplugging the MP3 player without disconnecting it. It may have happened due to formatting it with a different file format or due to memory issue with the player. Please reformat your MP3/MP4 player. Connect it to the computer, go to My computer-> right click on the mp3/mp4 player after it is displayed-> select format-> Format it as FAT32 File system. Formatting the MP3/MP4 player will delete all the songs/data from the player. So, backup all data before formatting it. Hope this helps...
