Problem for D-Link DI 514 Wireless Router (DI-514)
I can't access my wireless internet, asking for a pass phrase
I have hooked up a D-link wireless router to my Dad's computer and iconnect 612 modem so I can use my toshiba laptop to connect to wireless internet.
The laptop has a built in a wireless tracking device and has detected 'default' wireless internet from Dad's router. When i click on 'connect to a wireless network' in network and sharing centre (Vista) it brings up the 'default' secured network. I click on that and it asks for a security key or pass phrase. Can you please tell me where to locate this on Dad's computer? or the steps necessary to set up the wireless network if I have done this incorrectly?

the D Link router is what is causing the issue - Cut your losses and get a linksys ( netgears are ok so maybe one of those ) but avoid D Link and Belkin equipment as far as wireless or networking goes.
An apple airport extreme ( although a bit more expensive ) are very good.
