Question about Logitech Cordless Desktop MX3200 Laser Keyboard Mouse
overall I'm very happy with this product but I have one problem. I use 3d software which engages the scroll wheel as a command function. In Solidworks for instance, the scrollwheel serves as a rotation command for the 3d environment. In Alias/Studio tools, it serves to call up a command menu, when combined with the control key. These are crucial features, however, they are not working with the MX3200 combo. In fact the scroll wheel seems to be entirely inactive in both these programs. Any suggestions?
You can try using the windows driver for a generic 3 button or wheel mouse. That may require that you go to control panel system hardware and then find your mouse then select update driver and pick one of the generic or microsoft drivers that have the same functions. The problem may show up when you reboot and windows tries to reload the original driver.
