Problem for Panasonic (PV-GS500) Camcorder

Cassette holding thingy won't close

I wanted to put a cassette into my digital camera, I pressed open and there is this metallic thing that supposed to come out so i can put it in, so it moved out and that's it, won't let me put a cassette in or close it.
How do you even put a cassette in in the first place, I do'n't have a manual or anything

Try flipping the cassette over with the reel side toward camera, and tape facing in the camera.
