I bought an olympus D-390 a few years ago. Today I bought a new xD-picture card and the camera won't format it. Am I doing something wrong or is the card too big? please help

- how do you unlock the xd? All I did was put the card in turn the camera on it asked if I wanted to format. I said yes it said card error

Hi: Did you unlock the XD?

If the Xd is not unlocked, then you can not access it and format it.

Your Xd might be too big for your camera.

- Most newer XD.s have a tiny botton which has two positions lock and unlock. It yours has it, it could be found at the sides or top.
