Shutdown Issues

My Acer 4315-2490 shuts down at seemingly random times. It doesn't think that Windows shut down incorrectly or anything, the screen just goes black and then the entire computer shuts down. Is this something that needs to be adressed, or is there already a way to fix it. It doesn't seem to be a big deal, but it is very annoying at certain times and if there is a way to fix it, I would really appreciate knowing. Thanks.
