IS THERE SPECIAL MOUNTING HARDWARE (ROOF) ? I WILL BE INSTALLING THE PD-174 IN A 2004 FORD EXPEDITION W/ A FACTORY 6 DISC INDASH CD CHANGER & PLAYSTATION 2. IS THERE A SPECIAL VIDEO CABLE F/ INSTALLATION F/ THE PLAYSTATION 2 ?

Hi Coleman,

Nothing really special needed unless you get it running and you have lines or snow on the screen. You can use a the PS2's A/V cable, just run it on the opposite side of the car from the power. Also, you will probably need more length than the average PS2 A/V cable has, so Splice in some length. As far as mounting, Most of the time, I fashion an adapter to connect into the bracing for the dome lamp. You might get lucky and find a Bracket made for the Expedition. If you do not like the postition of the Dome lamp, thge roof of the expedition should have ribs. You can make some cross beams to span betweent he Ribs and allow for mounting your Monitor.

Ok so I have two ?swhy does this p0455 and 2ndI have the DVD in the rear but the TV kept going out like 20 mins in too the movie it's the picture cable but ford discontinued this how do I getTV screen
code p 455 refers to evaporative emission (EVAP) system---large leak detected ====causes ---hose connection/s--intake leak---EVAP canister---EVAP canister purge vale
first check---make sure that the fuel cap is on tight
as the the cable issue
Ford don't make electronic cables
they are made for ford to ford specifications so take the cable around to electronic shops ( Jaycar and the like ) to see who would have made the cable
or go to the wreckers and see if you can get a good cable out of a wrecker

2004 Expedition Sun Roof Leaks
you have 2 drains in the front that go down the a pillars and dump near the fenders.

The rear usually go down the B pillar or C pillar and out thebottom near the rocker panel.

Blow them out from the top with compressed air and make sure you have air flow at the exits.. Open the roof to see drain holes in the four corners.

The auxiliary A/C and heating system has the following features:
  • The auxiliary A/C and heating system is functional whenever the instrument panel mounted A/C control is in any position except OFF.
  • The auxiliary blower motor recirculates the air inside the vehicle. Outside air is not available to the auxiliary system.
  • Air is cooled and dehumidified by the auxiliary A/C evaporator core only if the instrument panel mounted A/C control is adjusted to a position that requires A/C compressor operation.
  • The temperature blend door and the auxiliary mode door are controlled by electric actuator motors.
  • Movement of the auxiliary temperature control between COOL and WARM causes a corresponding movement of the temperature blend door to mix air flowing through and around the auxiliary heater core.
  • Movement of the auxiliary mode control between PANEL and FLOOR causes a corresponding movement of the auxiliary mode door to direct air flow between the panel (headliner) registers and the floor duct.

  1. Remove the RH quarter trim panel cup holder and access panel.
  1. Remove the screws.
  1. Disconnect the blend door actuator electrical connector.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
