Question about Xerox DocuColor 12 Printer
Being an printer technician my self i am very much familiar with this problem than others.
its a very common problem.the paper sensor inside the unit is stuck up .so even though there is no paper jam it detects that the paper is jammed up.i have cleared this problem many a times.initially tap the printer with bit force on all sides sometimes doing this will release the stuck up sensor.but if it doesnot then the printer needs to be opened and serviced and make the sensor free, also clean the sensor and its sides properly so it wont stuck up again n again.
thanks for using fixya.keep updated.

i am supposing that you have gone throught the "tip given by Eksa' if not let me remain u again that the E2 error is basically for paper jam only in case of xerox..i deal with it every day as i have my own photocopy house with 3 Xerox XD155df and 5 of other models.
let me remind you again the tips.
To enter diagnostics: Turn on the power and within 4 seconds press the following sequence: 'Clear', 'Exposure Mode', 'Clear', 'Exposure Mode' (Exposure Mode is the button on the far left). The console will go completely blank.
To enter a code: Select the first part of the code using the copy quantity buttons, followed by the 'Print' button, then the second part of the code followed by the 'Print' button again.
To exit diagnostics: Press 'Clear' repeatedly or turn the power off.
*To clear a fuser code:(14) Enter diagnostics, select '14' followed by 'Print'... exit diagnostics.
**To Clear a U2 code:(16) Enter diagnostics, select '16' followed by 'Print' ... exit diagnostics.

Error E210 is a problem with the lens position. When you turn the machine on, the lens moves to it's "home" position usually at the top of the glass. This error points to the fact that the lens failed to find the home position. Take a look under the glass. The lens is driven by a small belt at the top. The belt may be loose or broken. You can take it apart and replace the belt if that is indeed the issue. Hope this helps!
