How do you remove memory card

Since you neglected to specify what type of memory card you want to remove from what device I can only be general, but usually you push gently down on the card as if to push it further into the device and it will pop out enough to let you grasp it with your fingertips.

If this doesn't do it then please reply to this post and specify the device from which you want to remove the memory card.

Camera model: panasonic FS3 Lumix cannot remove memory card. know how to remove battery. memory card seems stuck or I don't know the trick to remove

Turn the camera off first.
To remove the memory card you have to push it down a bit, you may hear a little 'click' and as you let go the card will pop up a bit.
Then you can pull it out.

Let me know. Thanks.

Plastic blank card stuck in media card reader - Dell Inspiron

Try pushing the card in instead of out, it should click then will be released. If it doesn't then there must be some kind of obstruction that prevents the card to be removed. If this is the case then the only way to remove this without damaging the device is to open the laptop and remove the card reader from the motherboard. The card reader can then be dismantled and the card will then be easily removed.

hope this helps.

Hi there. When I try to format the disk, I have "The disk is write protected" message on the screen. I can play the data on the disk, but not to add or to format it. What to do? Thanks in advance....

Hi George,

If you right-click on the removable device and go to properties, when in there uncheck the read-only box and click OK.
If that doesn't sort it check the actual card itself and see if there is a switch or slider on it that can be moved.

Memory card corrupted , cant retrieve saved games

Try a "Reformat" or your memory card. here's how.
I recommend that you do this every so often regardless, and particularly when you first buy a memory stick. Reformat it, on the Sony PSP. So that anything added by the memory stick manufacturer is removed, along with any hidden files you might have accidentally added.
You can format any size Memory Stick Duo in the Sony PSP by doing this:
  1. Push the little HOME button on the bottom left of the face of the unit.
  2. Use the arrow keys to move to the SETTINGS area, then move the up and down keys until you get to System Settings.
  3. Once you are there, click on the "X" button and scroll up and down as needed to find Format Memory Stick. Click on "X" again to select that option.
  4. The Sony PSP will now confirm that you want to reformat the memory stick (which removes every file and game save thereon, of course): choose yes and it'll format in just a few seconds.
Now you have a pristine new Memory Stick to work with and should have no problems with music, photos or other material you might wish to copy onto your PSP.

How can i use sd/mmc memory card reader on my laptop? ia am using dell inspiron 1525 model?

The SD/MMC memory slot is already configured to read standard and HDSD cards. Just remove the DELL blank from the slot by pushing it in until it clicks and release it. Then pull it out. Insert the SD/MMC card into the slot and push it in until it clicks. The DELL Blank is shorter than an actual SD/MMC card, so don't try to push the SD/MMC card any further than the 'click'. Remove by pushing in until it clicks, release, remove.

Camera insist on memory full, but card is empty

Press "Menu" Press button to the right (towards a little flower on my camera) which takes you to the "setting" menu. scroll down to "format" right click again and it reads "All data deleted" and then gives you the option to "Format" or "Cancel". Select "Format" and then "ok" and pronto....your memory card is ready to go.

Digital Camera film is stuck

Digital cameras don't have film, they use a memory card. Depending on the type of memory card, there's either a button right next to it that you push in and that will eject the memory card (ie: Compact flash), or if it's an SD card, just push in the card until it clicks... then the card will be spring activated and come out. Let me know if that helps. If not, repost the brand and model of camera.
