SOURCE: Hunter ceiling fan remote problem

You will most likely need to replace the receiver with a new one from hunter. The receiver is actually a complete controller and contains the receiver, relays (which you hear clicking) and starting condensors(large capacitors which hold a charge that is "dumped" over the windings to get the motor to start from a dead stop). These appear to be pretty tightly assembled unless you have a desire to start replacing parts "off the board."

SOURCE: HUNTER ceiling fan remote works with fan but not light

Unfortunately, you either have a faulty reciever or remote. A replacement will cost $30-$40 at homedepot2.gif. And it doesn't matter which is faulty because you can't purchase them seperately anyhow.

SOURCE: Hunter ceiling fan remote 85095-01 stopped working

it also could be one of the the jumpers fell out of the remote
they are located just above the battery. you will need to match the placement of the jumpers with the receiver mounted in the fan.

Hello Brother,
Installation:
Hang your ceiling fan on the Quick Connect fan bracket and wire the ceiling fan according to the manufacturer's instructions. The three wires coming from your ceiling should match the three wires coming from your ceiling fan: black (positive or hot), white (neutral or negative) and green (ground wire).

Use the high, medium and low keys on the remote to adjust the Hampton Bay fan speed, then use the light key to dim the light and the off key to turn off the fan.

For REMOTE CONTROL FANS you cannot use with any variable speed or slide wall switches. The remote control function must be used with on & off switch outlets only.

I have a ceiling fan with remote, remote will not turn fan on high, how can i fix this

The fan probably has manual pullcord switches - one for the light and the other for fan on/off/speed. The fan control pullcord needs to be at maximum setting.

Switch the fan on using the remote. Then set it to high using remote.

Now use the pullcord switch (probably cycles through off, low, medium, high, off with each pull). Set it at its fastest speed, and leave it there.

You should now be able to select highest speed from the remote.

Happy to try to help more if that does not work.

I'm sure you put fresh batteries in the remote...right? Most of the time you can correct remote problems by carefully taking the remote apart and cleaning all the contact points with a pencil eraser.

I have 2 fans 1 stopped working 1 remote

Look at the remote code on the remote which is broken, then copy the code on the fixed remote, then you can control anoher fan.
