Are they store bought CDs ? or are they copies? cause some players unless stated will not play MP3 or MP4 cds, or CDRs , CDRW Etc.... check if the Cds are burned copies, and then also check the music layout if copied, using the computer, see if they are mp3 files that should play if they are mp4 then the cd will act blank....hope this helps...

When I insert a cd the screen prompts me the please eject

A main cause for this is the dvd player dosent support the dvd or the dvd is damaged,, another thing could be that the lens on the cd player needs cleaning

Wont play CDs

HI, this is optical lens assembly failuer. you will need to send this unit in for a optical lens replacement procedure. this procedure is costly and, you will need to ship it as well to the manufacture for this repair.

The actual issue is the lens is unable to track due to the assembly failuer(load/tracking motor malfunction).

You may be able to contact a local tech that will be able to order this assembly and repair it locally for you. this is unlikely but, its cheaper than sending it off.

Cd dvd wont play

Many of the older DVD and CD players will not play disks recorded on a computer. This has to do mainly with the laser optical response.

There were several manufactures that manufactured their laser unit with a built in filter that would not allow their player to read non pressed CD disks (disks burned with a home computer).

When buring DVD's or CD's, use the slowest possible speed for the burn to have the highest readablity and least data errors possible for the medium.
