Hi there! Your battery may need to be reset. Try depleting the battery. Run the vacuum until it completely shuts off, then re-charge for a full 24 hours. Hope this helps out! If you still have questions you feel free to reach out to us here on Fixya, Facebook.com/dirtdevil, or Twitter @DirtDevil.

SOURCE: Electrolux 2-in-1 Pronto does not hold charge, I

The battery replacement for the PRONTO is not a consumer level maintenance procedure.
However, I just replaced the 4 original EMX1600sS batteries by anotther model with the same specs and my PRONTO is working fine now. The battery model is
Tenergy 2/3A Size Rechargeable Battery 1.2V 1600mAh NiMH W/ Tabs
Those are a little smaller than the originals but with the same capacity of 1600mAh and can be easily found in the web.
There are other similar models available that could be used but have in mind the limitations for the dimensions and capacity in mAh.
The dimensions of the original cylindrical batteries are aprox. 33 mm (1 1/4") X 22mm (7/8").
Anything under those specs should work.
Good luck.

SOURCE: The battery pack handle for

You might check with Batteries Plus.

I have had luck with several rechargeables in taking the assembly apart and finding a battery pack that would fit inside. The battery packs can be very universal...most rechargeable gadgets use universal battery packs inside their custom made "skins". All you have to do is figure out how to get the skin opened up to replace the "guts" inside.

SOURCE: Dust Buster 16.8v won't hold

What model number is this. Black and Decker does not make a 16.8 to my knowledge, so a model number would be helpful.

How long does it take to charge the cordless vac?

The basic rule of charging is "charge for 3 hours for every hour of use".

You won't hurt anything if you charge it overnight, but don't leave it charging for more then 24 hours.

If you wear the battery out eventually, Batteries Plus can re-pack the battery.

How to find the battery dirt bd10085 ?

Hi! The battery on the BD10085 is located internally. It is not user accessible or replaceable. If you are experiencing a short run time try depleting the battery. Run the cleaner until it completely shuts off and re-charge for a full 24 hours. Good luck!! Shark won't hold charge

How long are you letting it charge for? It's also possible the battery is defective, or there is a short in the vac.
