Question about HP Photosmart 3210 All-In-One InkJet Printer
You don't give a lot of information to go by, but my best guess is that you don't have the proper drivers installed.
HP Scanners and printers usually require that you first install the drivers, then connect the device. If Windows still does not recognize it, reboot with the scanner attached. The 'Found New Hardware' wizard should pop up and install the drivers.
Download the latest drivers from HP's website and install.
