2wire network works fine in main house. My mom lives in a mobile home adjacent to the main house (approx 100 ft from router). I tried a Hawking range extender....it works only intermittently and drops the line repeatedly.. Feel like I need a different configuration or different equipment to accomplish what I want. Mom frustrates easily and needs reasonably reliable internet access..
What are my other options ..... antennas, other range extenders???.... Would be willing to pay a network savvy tech to come onsite and setup, but don't know who to call. I live in extreme South Texas.....not a lot of high tech gurus here.
You can start with one, at ***********'s, add an external antenna, and set it up as a client pointing to your wireless internet connection. If that doesn't work, you duplicate the equipment set up as a wireless access point at your location.

Using BT ADSL broadband 2- wire hub & having problems with failure to connect to internet. BT have checked the line & changed the router but problem still persists. Connection to internet is very sporadic may work for a few hours then drops out during browsing & I sometimes can't get a connection for hours. I have checked all of the connections ,changed filters etc . 1 PC is hardwired to hub & 2 other PCs are connected wireless & the problem occurs on all 3 devices. When using tools to check a message appears "unable to ping DNS 192.168.22.22" Can you give me any assistance please? W McNair
