I have a electric whirlpool self cleaning oven, after the cleaning process the door is still locked. It's beeping and error message E1 F5

Assuming the door is still locked after cooling, then either the door switch is bad or the wiring from the control panel to the door switch has a problem. First disconnect the power from the oven. Then check the wiring and connectors (from the control to the switch and back). If those are fine, you need to replace the door switch. After replacing the switch or fixing any bad wiring/connections, reconnect the oven to power. Press and hold any key on the panel for at least one minute to clear the error. You should see F2 on the LCD panel. Press Cancel to clear the error then check to see if any new error (or the old one) message occurs. (Usually a new error message will come up within a minute.)

Which model Whirlpool oven do you have? If you add a comment with the model number, I may be able to provide a parts list and diagram of the unit.

I hope this helps.

Self cleaning oven error code FSEO

Probably a bad door lock solenoid. That is some kind of door lock problem. Trouble is they are not all the same. This training manual shows locations of model number. Perhaps if you post that I might can come up with a tech sheet and you would get a better answer. see page 4

I am having the same problem that many others are. My screen went blank and when the buttons are pushed they just beep. This sounds as if it is some sort of malfunction within the circuit board? I plan to...

It is and you are doing what you should. We know that a lot of these problems are being caused by the heat from a self-cleaning cycle rising up into the circuit board. I get a lot of these problems right after someone self-cleaned their oven, although it can fail completely months after the cleaning cycle damaged the board. So in the future try and use the self-clean cycle very sparingly and set the timer to clean for only two hours if it will allow it. My best advice is to not use the self-cleaning clycle, use aluminum foil in the oven floor, and hand clean the door and walls as you use it. Do not use oven cleaner on this as most of the cleaners will damage the self-cleaning oven liners. Change the aluminum foil when it gets dirty and never self clean with the aluminum foil in the oven.
