Question about Reebok Vista Treadmill - RBTL13305
Out of the blue the other day my 10 year old Nordic Track Exp 2000 Model NTTL11991 treadmill stopped wkg. The lights go on (computer console is ok), but the motor won't run. I removed the motor cover and the lights on one of the circuit boards all seem to go on fine when I try to start up the t mill, but I hear 6 clicking sounds from the motor and then nothing. The computer thinks everything is ok and starts to tally the mileage, etc....but the motor doesn't run.
I attached my cordless drill battery to the motor and it runs fine. So, how do I ck the motor controller to see if that's the culprit? I have a multi meter, but I'm not sure where to attach it to the controller board (not experienced with electronics at all). The other question I have is how do get that darn fuse out to ck it? I don't want to break the plastic fuse casing and I've spent a good 1/2 hr trying to get it off already. I'm told I should definitely ck the fuse first.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If console lights up but doesnt respond when buttons are pressed, you more than likely have a console problem. Key pad issue would be my best guess.

If everything still works but no belt movement, you motor controller is more than likely shot. If replacing you want to also pay attention to the deck and belt. Sence it sut down while running, it sound it an over heating problem which is usually caused from too much friction between the walking belt and the deck(the board under it) May require lube or may need replacing.
