Pioneer cdj 800 display often goes out, but comes back on after I give it a good whack (yeah I know, but it worked in Back to the Future and for my cdj's). What's the problem here/where can I parts

I have the same problem with my unit. The display will get real dim after a few songs, then completely turn off. I have pushed down on the display gently & it sometimes comes back on. Cdj would continue to play the song while displaying nothing. Recently, all lights will not turn on. Cdj player still makes noise though

I am an aircraft mechanic not an electrician, but I narrowed it down to the power supply. Somewhere on the power supply there is a connection that is making a bad connection. I will keep looking and post if found! :)

Ok the board that the power supply connects to on the left it plugs into another board. Press down on that connection. I guess over time the Board slowly comes unplugged. Mine works fine now! :)

Pioneer cdj 800 mk2 playing mp3s, jogwheel & screen dont work

More than likely the contact pad (aka Membrane pad) is probably damaged... or the flat cable which connects to the main processor, might be loose, or damaged.

You'll need to get this professionally checked out by a qualified technician. It's not an easy fix.

Replacing cdj cue buttons

Not hard at all. Just have to open her up. I would suggest purchasing the service manual, which has instructions on doing this and useful for other repairs, as well as parts list, and parts diagrams.

Hi,

Unfortinetly i cant recommend to you a quick fix or a quick check as the fault seems to be intermittent,
i would suggest taking the player to your cdj pioneer dealer.

My LCD Display

Well, one of 2 things may have gone bad...

1) Ribbon Cable
2) LCD PC Board

The first is easily fixed. The second, is not. As for service centers, I suggest you contact Pioneer - www.pioneerelectronics.com

Cdj 800

CD reader sounds like it's stuck. You might have some debris inside, or the reader might need to be replaced. Not an easy fix, and I would suggest contacting a service center for assistance.
