This sounds like the picker has failed to complete the power on self test (POST).
This may be due to a damaged library or simply due to a tape blocking the picker movement.

POWER OFF!
Try opening the library to make sure your tapes are all properly located in the magazines and have not fallen out.
Also try gently moving the picker to see if you can locate any other obstructions. Be very careful as you obviously do not want to break the picker or anything else accidentally.

Power off printer then open printer cover then install first ink cartridge black and colored then get tapes supporting in to printer head. then power on again.if it's new i know have a user manual.just read instruction step by step.

A tape may be sticking out of its cell or a drive.

Never use sticky labels anywhere on the cartridge.

if the M2500 doesn't display online on the front panel, the host will not detect it. If the machine has problem, it will display an error code after it init failed. Then you will dicide what to do according the error code.

is the tank inside the machime that's full
open your machine look for the tank and take off the pads you see them full of ink .clean the tank and put back the clean pads at the front and fill the rest of it with new pads or just wrap them in kitchen towels.
it worked for me ..no more red light and no more unable to clean 50 .

Sounds like the guideposts need realignment to center the tracking or something got bent in the tape jam removal, check the tape path!. Also could try a take apart cleaning of the head with a piece of paper and some alcohol.

The unit will need to be repaired.  Consider getting a maintenance contract on it as my px502 cost me $700 to replace a sensor and cleaning and a few other minor issues.
