Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

How can I title my songs?

You have to right-click each song in Windows Media Player, select "Advanced Tag Editior," and manually enter the song names in some cases (or select "Find Album Info" and acquire the info). Any songs that you edit in Windows Media Player will have to be deleted off of your mp3 player, and then re-added, or else it will not save the changes.

You can find the latest player by going to GPX's website - it is subject to constant change

Unable to Edit Files.

Open Windows Media Player 11
Right click on one of the songs that is showing up as unknown artist.
Select "Advanced Tag Editor"
Manually enter the artist information, etc.

To save time, you could also right click the song and select "Find Album" info - it won't find every album, but it will find most of them.

The real bear is that once you have edited the information in Windows Media Player, you have to delete the affected song off of your mp3 player and THEN reload the newly-edited song - or else your changes won't register on the mp3 player itself.

How can i change the names of the songs on my ilo mp3 player 2 gb?

I don't know this player, however most players show the name of the song in the mp3 tag info, not the file name.
In Windows, (depending on version), right click the file and choose properties. There should be a general and details tab. Go to details and you can edit the tag info. Or, download an mp3 tag editor. There are several, like this one which I have used to do multiple files at once:

Song Names show up incorrectly on ILO Mp3 player. Wrong format?

The funny~.mp3 names are usually because the title field is not filled in in the mp3 property tags, so it uses the DOS version of the filename for the title. Under windows, right click the song and select properties->summary->advanced, and make sure that the title field under "description" has what you want in it. I don't think even the makers of Ilo know how it organizes the files.
