I have this printer and what is happening is that when I plug in the printer it starts to feed the paper and the it stops. When I send a test page to print it just feeds the papers and prints nothing. There is nothing wrong with the toner and it was printing ok before this problem. I get to understand that it can be a sensor problem but I don't know where or what to look for. Thanks in advance for your help.

Do you have this problem if you try to feed the paper from the manual paper tray? Does this happen all the time or only once in a while? It may be that the paper feed rollers are slipping and this is throwing off the timing of the printer and it stops because it does not know where the paper is. If the printer will feed fine from manual then check the rollers in the tray 2 cavity. The white cored roller is the pickup roller and the blue cored roller is the feed roller. Clean both with a paper towel dampened with water. Post back what you find and I can assist further. Also make sure that the paper guides in the tray are set properly. The back stop on these trays has a habit of either sliding back or cracking.
Check the adjustment of the guides in the paper tray. There should be about an 1/8 inch of play from front to back so that the sheets of paper so they can be lifted from the tray. If the stack of paper is snug, move the rear guide back a little bit.
One you have a messed up print job trying to print and when you turn the printer on the job just starts over.
Two the clutch that stops the pick roller is bad and the roller just keeps turning.
Unplug the machine from the computer and turn it off unplug power for awhile turn it back on not connected to the computer. If condition remains it is the clutch.
If condition goes away delete print jobs and re connect printer.
Hope this helps
