Question about Timex (T439S) Clock Radio
I can see what time it is as though it is in a powersaver mode where it is unplugged and running only on batteries. But it is plugged in. It used to only display red as some posts have described, but now it doesn't illuminate at all. The user's manual doesn't address this at all. I love my clock radio and I want it to be bright and colorful again. Please help! Thanks.

The display on my clock is red as well. I found it that way when I came home from work today. It had lost all of its settings as well. I put everything back to the way it was supposed to be but I can't get the color to change. I guess something just quit.

The backlight LED of your Timex clock has got weak. It should be replaced. But it is really a skilled work as, you have to disassemble the display unit. If you are aware in electronics and have skill to do this work, you can do it by yourself. Otherwise, it will be best to get it replaced by any experienced service technician. OK.
