No black ink print. Prints in light blue

-   i have same problem installed new black cartridge and printer wont print in black. how do i correct problem.-   Guest

-   My printer used to print black as blue, but now it has changed to purple and pink. I took the ink cartridge out and cleaned it, but nothing changed. I took the color cartridge out, and now the pages are printing blank. Why isn't it using the black ink for black? -   Kt Hobgood

-   I have the same problem.
HP Deskjet 3520 doesn't print black when I use the colour cartridge.
Where it should be black, I get green.
It's supposed to combine the colours to MAKE black, so that you don't have to use a black cartridge - but that function isn't working.

I've tried a brand new colour cartridge; it displays the same behavior of printing green instead of black - so it's not the cartridge or cartidge heads.

I've also tried printing black with a only a new black cartridge for this model of printer installed. That doesn't print at all.

-   i have hp deskjet 110 plus printer. i just installed the new bulk inks. first i did not put the airfilters , so it did not work. after putting them onto the bulk ink, the color inks run fine except the black. i do hardly get the balck color. how can i solve the problem - i did the head cleing several times...-   cengiz
