Click on the link below, to get all the drivers that you will ever need for your NEC Aspire 2000(discontinued).

http://support.necam.com/drivers/index.cfm?M=475

Scroll down to 'Pointing Device' and select one of the 3 options. Note, these drivers are for DOS, Win 3.x and the Win95 Operating systems. Very old operating systems.

If this was helpful, click YES, below.

Could you clarify your model number. This should be located on the underside of your laptop.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Can u guys help me?? i got a problem to take out the HDD.. my laptop model is NEC VERSA S3301.. i don't know how to open it!!

HDD is on the front side with the mouse sensor.if touch pad is most left then hdd is on right side and if touch pad is right most then hdd will be on left side.

you can find hdd by open the keyboard side.there will be two or four screw on th backside or bottom of laptop.open these screws then pull touch pad carefully.dont force it may be you open wrong screws rather then correct screws.

hdd always on the side of touch pad its now on you how to open it.

Wireless keyboard stopped working; mouse still does though

on this key boards problem is that they key pad circuit board has no mechanical connection or wire connection it merely lays across the circuit board loosing contact that's why if you squeeze the bach it starts working again

Keyboard Problems

hmmm..tha't's truly weird.

go to control panel, system, device manager, and remove the keyboard from list..

then do a hardware scan(upper menus) with mouse control,

see if it 'sees' the keyboard again.

all else fails? get a bios update from your nec folks
