Hi. The most common cause for this is the color wheel. Replacing it requires removal of the engine/optical block. It is similar to what you'll have to do but I don't think your chassis is exactly the same as this one so some things will look different inside.

This is a DLP projection. may be that you have a defective color wheel motor or supply voltage to color wheel motor is out of range.

Mine started to howl last year, I sprayed out the motor using carb cleaner / lubricant. Its been running fine for over a year since.

My guess is, the bushing gets plugged with dust particals. If you catch it as soon as it starts to squeek, the carb cleaner trick may work for you too.
