Samsung Syncmaster 932b - when I turn on the computer and monitor, the monitor's on button flashes blue and the screen stays blank. Turning monitor on and off rarely works, neither does unplugging it from power strip. Screen display usually comes on instantly if I shut off power strip and turn strip back on while both computer and monitor are already turned on and plugged into it. Today am starting to see faint flashing bars of light on monitor screen while it is blank.

The Problem may be due to the defective inverter unit inside the monitor. Dry to resolder if any dry joint on the inverter PCB or replace the inverter board.
