How do I reset my acurite model 00592tx? - Measuring Tools & Sensors

Question edited for a LOT more clarity. full 'make model (what it is)'.

Remove the batteries from both indoor and outdoor unit. Leave them out for 10 minutes. Replace the outdoor sensor with a new battery (2xAA), and then new batteries in the main unit (3xAA).

My outside gauge went flying off my porch in a gust of wind. I found everything but the back that covers the batteries. Can I get a replacement back?

There is no reset button, installing new batteries causes the sensor to reset itself.

Try removing and re-installing the batteries.
