Question about Nikon D80 Digital Camera with 18-135mm Lens

View Screen says Card Is Locked ?????

My camera has worked great and today I tried to take pic's and the camera view box says Card is Locked what do I do

On most SD cards there is a tiny plastic tab on one side of the card. Slide that to the other position to unlock the card.

Memory card locked


Remove the SD card from the camera. Slide the tiny switch on the side of the card to its other "unlocked" position. Reinsert the card in the camera. But if you've already tried this, see this link for additional things that you can try. Pay particular attention to the section talking about SDHC cards. Your camera was made before they came out.

I simply returned the camera to Best Buy and asked for another one after describing the problems I had with it. I have not had any issues with the replacement camera....

Pictures Lost???


Get an inexpensive card reader and try to download the pics to a folder you create on your desktop.

How to delete pictures from camera card


what you do is go to view pics on your phone then there should be an option on delete pics or the other problem might be the card is locked. take out the card and on the side of it is a switch move the switch to the unlock position. try this hope it works

Memory Card Error


You could take the card to a store that has a Kodak picture maker machine (Walmart, etc.). From there, you can print your pics or even make a cd of them. The card may be faulty or just may not work in Canon cameras.

Blue screen access error when viewing or taking pics or vids


Please try to take as many pictures from memory stick as you can then format memory stick through format option in setup.
Hope this will resolve this blue access issue.
You can use another memory stick like 1GB in this camera.

Card locked


take out your memory card and there should be a little knob
on the side of it, and the knob is probally beside the word Lock
move the knob up and it should be working fine.
