The blower motor may be going out check to see if there is ice build up in the very back of the freezer as it is a common symptom of a bad blower.

Water in bottom of fridge freezzer

Check the drain hoses on the back of your fridge, it must be clogged by mould. Get a soft sipping straw and put into that hose several times to unclog. Pour some warm water on that hose to take off more of the moulds.

Fridge is clean but has a nasty smell coming out from the back

There may be a tray under the fridge that collects any water from defrosting . It usually evaporates from the compressor fan blowing over it . Remove lower front cover and back cover to access and clean this tray. Unplug unit before attempting this just to be safe. Hope this helps.

If you mean water from defrosting then most probably its blocked pipe. You can disconnect the pipe by pulling it out from backside and clean it. But then question also arise where the water is going? is your freezer compartment flooded after defrosting?

Hi i have a coldmatic walk in freezzer it did not frozen anything. can itt be the controler for the temperture be broken. it run but i did not go down to the freezing temperture. what can i do?

It will not cool if its not running, if it runs all the time and is not freezing then the charge could be low. If it not running and thus not cooling then the cold control could be the problem, but there are usually other controls that are there to protect the system, such as low and high pressure switches, low ref. would open it and a dirty cond. coil would open the high pressure switch, and then both the indoor and outdoor fans need to be running, the indoor fan will run 24/7 unless its defrosting. Hope this helps

I have a drip coming from my kitchenaid ice maker which flows into the water/ ice dispenser tray then down the front of the door. The refrigerator was purchased in 2005 and the problem started last...

It's either the ice tray leaking , In witch case you should replace it , Or the water inlet valve is is sticking open and overfilling the tray, in this case you will need to replace the valve behind the refrigerator where the hose connects. Good luck

Water runs out the front onto the floor almost like its defrosting and leaking

Check the drain pan. It may be clogged and overflowing.

If you have an ice-maker, check the water supply hose going into and coming out of the water inlet valve.

Hope this helps.

Water leaking from the bottom

Self-defrosting refrigerators dispose of the water generated during the defrost cycle, usually via a tube or channel that directs the water to a pan at the bottom of the refrigerator. From the pan, the water normally evaporates.

If the tube or channel is clogged or obstructed, the water backs up and leaks into the inside of the refrigerator compartment. Then the water builds up at the bottom, inside of the refrigerator. When the water has built up for a time it may spill out of the front of the door opening. To fix this problem, clear the drain tube or channel and allow the defrost water to flow down to the drain pan.
