How do I get rid of high pitched whistle in cabin air system?

My '98 Camry makes a high pitched whistle from cabin air vent, and intensifies as fan is turned higher. It primarily is when air is directed straight at front passengers, and sounds like something is caught in the vent. Any ideas how to proceed to with seeing if some debris is caught in the cabin air system? I do not seen anything when just looking in vents on front and top of dashboard.

SOURCE: 2000 Camry LE bad odor from a/c heater cabin vents

Possible the smell is coming from the bacteria living on your ac evapourator. You can buy a spray for this that you set off inside the vehicle. Follow the instructions on the tin.

SOURCE: A/C blows from defrost and floor vents, nothing from dash vents.

the switch where you turn it to blowing at your head is probably out. you will need to replace the switch control where your defrost, foot, head etc. what make, model, year is your vehicle?

SOURCE: Passenger ac vent cools and driver side ac vent do not

It sounds like a heater blend door issue inside the heater box that is actually not closing all the way to allow either cool or hot air or visa/versa.

SOURCE: Air is not blowing through my 02 Camry front vents. It sounds like the fans are working but no air is coming out.

I would say the blend door actuator is not working right. It directs the flow in the vent system.

I have a riello burner BF5 and it is making a high pitch whistling noise. I am waiting for a professional repair person to come but just wanted to know if it is dangerous and have any safety concern.

Does the whistle start when the house air circulation fan starts? If so,it's just a leak in the air ducting, not much to worry about if it is that.

When window is down, i get a high pitched noise in the cabin of the car

This is got to be the best one I've ever tackled! Got a few questions, does changing the position of the window change anything? It could be the door seal on another door or window that in inducting a third vent and causing it. It could very well be something in your vents, got children? Try changing positions of vents or get someone else to drive while you play detective. Almost be willing to bet that if you get someone else to drive while you hunt it , it want whistle. Technically speaking Air has to pass through a certain size orifice or be bent to a certain angle and pass faster at one area than it is in the other areas, if that makes any sense. It didn't to me when I read it. Sorry I can't be of more help but look at the good side, it'll keep you awake while you're driving! Not much help on this one~Gillight

Whistling noise while driving

If it is whistling while you rev your engine (while parked), then most likely there is a leak or hole in your air intake or vacuum hoses.

Facts:
1. Your car creates a vacuum to constantly receive air from the outside.

2. A whistling noise is created when air travels through a hole.

Check all air pressurized ducts for holes or leaks.
Check air intake system for holes or leaks.

Bad smell from heater is there a filter to replace some where? how do i get rid of the smell?

IF YOU HAVE AIR CON THEN YOU WILL HAVE A "CABIN FILTER" WHICH NEED TO BE REPLACED AND THEN USED A AIRCON CLEANER TO REMOVE THE BUGS THAT CAUSE MILDEW IN THE VENTS
