Why won't my Netbook turn on?

A netbook brand new? Let me guess, an Acer One Aspire? There is no detail about the devicein question here.
If it's brand new, just return it, warranty. If it's an Acer One, you probably need a patch for the BIOS which by the way, is kin dof hard to get. Search for BIOS patch for XXXX (netbook model)

Black screen blue box saying

some one must have put in a boot password to your laptop,
follow this:
When booting up, enter your BIOS setup (usually by pressing the F2 key at the appropriate time).

Locate the BIOS Password section and turn the ON STARTUP password to off. There is no standard setup for BIOS, so I can't give you exact instructions.

If this does not work, try:
remove cell & start your pc you will here beep...beep...beep...

then turn off your pc & restore your cell.Start your pc and
password is removed.

there is a battery on motherboard,a button cell, you can try removing that and start computer, then put it back, bios settings will be lost.
you can also try removing any hardware like ram,if you have two, when system is off, turn on , it will prompt for changes , enter bios and try remove password.

Black screen during startup Acer Aspire L310

Has your monitor worked for it in the past? This may be a stupid question, have you also tried to use your monitor with another computer?

It's possible your graphics controller is out, have you checked the cables insides to see if any wires are bent? Or have you tried to use another cable for the monitor to tower connection?

If you have done all of the above and the monitor works with another computer, it's possible your GPU is out :(

If your GPU is out, you can buy a new one in it's place and it will plug into a PCI slot, chances are your graphics card is integrated.

Do you get any beep codes on the computer? Another odd chance could be the computer itself is actually dead, even if a computer is dead a motherboard can still be active since electricity can still flow through it.

I hope this helps. x: I hope your problem is resolved sooner than later.

There's a beeping sound during startup

Hello,

Thank you for posting here in Fixya.com

The beeping sound is not a problem. Most computers produce a beeping sound when you start your computer up.

Thank you,

There's a sound during startup

Hello,

There is no problem with your computer. It's just natural to have a beeping sound during start up. If there is, then it will show an error message in the screen.

If it's just a short beep, then it's normal.

I have an Aspire One Netbook that is about 3 years old. During the last two weeks, it will unexpectedly shut down for no apparant reason. The "Blue Screen of Death" just appeares for a second...

I suppose that battery is bad. Connect with cable to main and cross finger...
If this is not the problem..., then bios problem or need new internal little bios battery.

Brand new acer aspire won't load windows xp

If you can still get into the BIOS, see if you have an option for D2D recovery. if so, make sure it is enabled.

restart the system and hold down Alt+f10. if your recovery partition is still intact, this should start a factory reload of your system.

Power pack lights up fans turn on computer wont power up

Sounds like motherboard is not getting correct power. Could be as simple as installing a new power supply ( try tigerdirect.com for supply) or it could be as disheartening as a cracked motherboard. These are tricky problems, does your computer beep at all during startup? If it does find out the manufacturer of your bios, and look up the beep codes for that brand. Every bios has different beep codes that could be trying to tell you something.
