Question about Computers & Internet

I'm having trouble finding drivers

I'm having trouble finding some of the drivers for my MSI EX630 laptop. I'm using the beta of Windows 7 64 bit addition. The drivers are listed under other devices in the device manager. Two of them are named ''Base System Device'' and one of them is named ''Coprocessor.'' After searching the net for people with similar questions, I have reason to believe that they are the drivers for the chipset. My chipset is an Nvidia nforce MCP77. The manufacturer of my computer does not provide 64 bit drivers for this that I could find. The 32 bit drivers would not install. Any ideas?

Hey,

I think I can solve this problem, have you gotten a refund from the chat you had or can you re-start the chat somehow(check your emails)? I would like to give it a try.

I looked into it a little, no 64bit drivers available for that model, might be possible to look up drivers with Device Id's from the actual makers of the hardware. But if you install Windows 7 (32bit) The vista 32bit drivers will work.

Question Problems with DIMM slots !!!

Hello
Try installing the memory on one memory slot at a time to make sure that both memory slots are working ,try one memory by itself and then the other one.
If you install both at the same time example 2x 2gb ram and bios only sees 2gb and not 4gb then it's problem with one of memory slots and motherboard must be repaired.
You can try bios update:

I need to use windows server 2003 R64 bit as the operating system on the laptop

Hi there.
Sorry but Windows server 2003 relies on XP drivers, your laptop only supports Vista so the drivers will not work.
You can however test Server 2008 which will take Vista drivers, download and test it here >>>>>>
